Srinagar: The India Alliance Partner Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar) has decided to support PDP Candidate Waheed Ur Rehman Parra for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, giving a significant boost to the party in Central Kashmir.
NCP (Sharad Pawar) Jammu and Kashmir Unit Leaders Arif Surma, Youth President, and Mir Arifa (NMC President) confirmed the development and announced the party’s support in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. They said that the high command in Delhi has given the green signal in this regard. NCP has urged party cadre and party functionaries to extend support to PDP’s candidate Waheed Ur Rehman Parra. The party’s youth leader said that Waheed Parra’s dedication in recent years shows he deserves to win and lead effectively, says Party Leader, Dr. Mir Arjumand.
Welcoming the move, PDP Youth President and Parliament Candidate for Central Kashmir, Waheed Ur Rehman Parra, said that the PDP is committed to fulfilling the people’s expectations and expressed hope that their support would further strengthen the party’s electoral prospects in Central Kashmir.
