Srinagar, Apr 24, KDC: A civilian was shot at and injured by suspected militants in Marhama area of Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday evening.
A police officer told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that terrorists fired upon a civilian identified as Aqib Ahmad Dar, son of Mohd Ismail Dar of Jafer Pora Marhama. Aqib, who is running a readymade shop in the locality, was shifted to SDH Bijbehara from where he has been referred to GMC Anantnag for further treatment.
The officer said that the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the assailants and a case is also being registered in this regard. (KDC)
