Poonch police have recovered a kidnapped lady who has been rescued by team of Mendhar police station of sub-division Mendhar of district Poonch.
A senior police officer said that missing report of lady was lodged in police station Mendhar on 21st of March and after that a case of kidnapping under relevant sections of law was registered.
“Special teams were constituted at sub-division level and after hectic efforts the police recovered the lady,” he said, adding that after completion of legal formalities the lady was handed to legal heirs.In this connection an FIR 55/2023 under relevant sections of law stand registered and further investigation is going on, he said.
