Srinagar: Journalist Emaad Makhdoomi has filed a law suit of Rs 10 crores against Majid Hyderi as damages for defamation while the “Court imposes restraint”.
Court of First Additional District Judge has summoned freelance journalist Majid Hyderi and Editor ‘News Tell’ (online news portal) and also restrains them from repeating the publication/articles/ comments posted on 13th and 14th March against Emaad Makhdoomi.
The court observed that Emaad Makhdoomi has a strong prima facie case in his favour and if the ad-interim order/injunction is not passed, he shall suffer an irreparable loss and injury to his esteem, reputation and dignity.
