Srinagar, Nov 16, KDC: A body of a non-local was found lying on the roadside in Soura area of Srinagar, police said on Tuesday evening.
A police officer told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that body of a non-local identified as Balistar Chaudhary, a resident of Damwalia west in Champaran-Palia of Bihar state was found lying on road in Bilal Colony of Soura area here.
Chaudhary was taken to SKIMS Soura, where doctors declared him dead.
Prima facie it seems unnatural death, the officer said adding that inquest proceedings under CrPC 174 has started and the body has been sent for medico legal formalities. (KDC)
