Bandipora, Sep, KDC: Principal Higher Secondary school Chuntimulla, Dr Nasir Hussain Peerzada arranged a student exchange program for its class 10th students to government Girls Model Higher Secondary School in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
GHSS Bandipora hosted a delegation of 13 students from HSS Chuntimulla who were accompanied by Dr Yasir Ali and Ishfaq Rashid Lone on Thursday.
“The school is privileged to be the model higher secondary of the town and holds a very good reputation in all academic and co-curricular activities. GHSS envisions the exchange of students to facilitate a different exposure to the students of other institutions and forging bonds of bonhomie,” the Principal of GHSS said.
The delegation was received warmly by all the faculty members of GHSS Bandipora. A detailed pedagogical and latest technological trends were demonstrated by Javeed Ahmad Meer, whereas, Ishtiyaq Hussain Samoon, Mohammad Amin and Shabir Ahmad Nadvi also interacted with the students in the ICT lab of the host Institution and motivated them with their enlightening expressions for future endeavors.
In addition, Bashir Ahmad Mir( Vice principal GHSS) briefed the students about the importance of libraries and laboratories in the school.
Dr Nasir Hussain peerzada said,” the student exchange program of a far-flung Higher Secondary like HSS chuntimulla to the schools with better infrastructure will give our students a firsthand experience of the latest pedagogical technologies being used in such schools”.
The students of both the schools also shared their experiences that include Nazmeen, Ulfat, Raqeema and Meer Maliha.
Meanwhile, Dr Yasir Ali, lecturer of physics extended his gratitude to the principal of the host school Mr Mohammad Rafiq Parrey for giving an opportunity of interaction to the students of HSS Chuntimulla.
