Hajin, Aug 18. KDC: A seven year old boy was killed in a road accident in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said on Thursday.
They told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that one Haris Ahmad Hurra (7) son of Mushtaq Ahmad, a resident of Parray Mohalla was hit by a four Tata Ace (Chota Haathi) outside his house.
Haris was immediately shifted to CHC Hajin where doctors declared him dead.
A police officer confirmed to KDC and said the body has been handed over to the family members after completing medico legal formalities.
The driver has been arrested and the vehicle was seized , he said, adding that further investigation has been set into motion. (KDC)
