Srinagar, July 09, KDC: A sanitation worker of municipal committee Budgam was killed, while tractor driver was injured after a tractor they were travelling in, turned turtle in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that “Tractor of municipal committee Budgam driven by Mohammad Iqbal Bhat of Haknipora, accompanied by a sanitation worker identified as Mohammad Amin Hajam ghulam Ahmad Hajam of Apribagh Khag, upon reaching the dumping site Mamat, turned turtle and both were injured.”
Both were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, where the sanitation worker succumbed to his injuries.
A police officer confirmed the incident to KDC and said a case under relevant sections of law is being registered in this regard. (KDC)
