Srinagar, May 28: In a road accident on Saturday morning at Battal Ballian area in Udhampur district of Jammu, twenty-six passengers were injured after a bus they were travelling in turned turtle.
An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that the accident took place at Battal Ballian area of Jammu’s Udhampur district after a bus bearing registration number JK02BP 4355, which was carrying passengers, overturned, resulting in injuries to twenty-six passengers.
After the incident, all the injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, he said, adding that the persons among the injured with grave injuries were shifted to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment.
Immediately following the incident, Police rushed to the spot and took cognizance of the mishap. (KDC)
