Srinagar 28 May (KDC): India recorded 2,685 new Covid19 cases in last 24 hours, taking the infection tally to 4,31,50,215, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) data.
The Covid fatalities climbed to 5,24,572, with 33 more deaths, as per the data, the active caseload rose to 16,308 cases which accounts for 0.04 per cent of the total positive cases.
“The national Covid recovery rate was recorded at 98.75 per cent,” the health ministry said, adding that 2,158 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours, increasing the total recoveries to 42,609,335.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.60 per cent and weekly positivity rate was 0.54 per cent, it added. (KDC)
