Srinagar, May 10 (KDC): One more un-Identified militant has been killed in an encounter at Dooru area in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday, taking the toll to two.
Official sources told KDC, that second militant has been killed in an encounter, however the identity of the slain militants was yet to be ascertained.
A police officer confirmed that two militants have been killed. one Ak-47 rifle has been also recovered from their possession, he said.
Earlier reports reaching KDC that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Dooru.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight. (KDC)
