Srinagar, May 07, KDC: A man was injured by a fierce leopard on the loose which the Wildlife Department officials are managing to capture alive in Nesbal Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Officials told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that a man identified as Mushtaq Ahmad son of Mohammad Ramzan, a resident of Hilal Abad Nesbal was attacked by a leopard in his native village. After the incident Mushtaq was immediately shifted to CHC Sumbal where his condition is stated to be stable, they said.
An official from the wildlife department assured that their team is on the spot, and have confirmed about the presence of that leopard in the area and have assured that they would catch that wild animal very soon. (KDC)
