Srinagar 25 Apr (KDC): Police arrested four gamblers at Parimpora area of summer capital Srinagar’s outskirts on Monday.
A police official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that they received a tip-off about gambling going on at Parimpora Bus Stand and immediately deputed a team, who arrested four gamblers along with a stake money of Rs. 22,500 and playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Nazir Ahamd Kumar, a resident of Tral Payan; Mehraj Din Telli, a resident of Nagbal; Khursheed Ahamd Rasray, a resident of Chadoora Budgam and Fayaz Ahamd Bhat, a resident of Khangund Tral.
In this regard a case under FIR number 102 under relevant sections of law has been registered and an investigation set into mention. (KDC)
