Srinagar, March 1: ANN News on Tuesday announced the return of its most watched anchor Mudasir Yaqoob who would be debating live with different panellists in prime time show.
The channel also announced that Mudasir Yaqoob has been appointed as chief of the Board of Directors besides his responsibilities would include holding the post of Executive Editor of the Channel.
The Tv programme hosted by Yaqoob will be telecast live from Srinagar studio at 9 PM with the Executive editor speaking live with reputed personalities of national and international fame.
Earlier, Yaqoob hosted the most watched show of the ANN News titled Saath Se-Aaath which was famous for its direct questions asked to guests.
In Saath Se Aath, Yaqoob has hosted different personalities including top politicians, bureaucrats and others.
The short clips of one-to-one interview show Saath Se Aath went viral on social media with neitizens lauding the anchors for their “straight forward question” to guests.
ANN News Editor in Chief Tariq Bhat said that the entire ANN team is excited to see Yaqoob back on screen. “Mudasir Yaqoob has always been a backbone of the channel. He has also hosted the programme ‘Aakhir Kab Tak’ live from historic Ghanta Ghar. We are pleased to announce his return,” Bhat said.
