Srinagar, Dec 23, KDC: : Several political leaders and prominent leaders from Srinagar joined the Peoples Conference. The new entrants were welcomed into the fold by Joined in presence of Senior VP Mr Abdul Gani Vakil, Senior Leader Mr Abid Ansari, YJKPC President Mr Sheikh Imran, YJKPC GS Mudasir Karim, YJKPC Kashmir Coordinator Mr Salman Bukhari, JKPC District VP Srinagar Abul Hassan, PC Leaders Sulemain Bhat, Mr Irfan Matoo and Mr Shabir Mir.
Vakil while welcoming the new entrants in PC fold said that it is inspiring and encouraging to see people from all walks of life joining the PC with a resolve to strengthen it on ground and make it a viable political alternative.
YPC President Sheikh Imran said that PC’s popularity amongst the masses could be gauged by the fact that new and experienced people are entering into the party fold with a hope to see Jammu and Kashmir a place free from imbroglio.
According to the party spokesperson, the new entrants expressed confidence in PC’s vision for change and party’s resolve to get Jammu and Kashmir out of the morass of uncertainty and chaos with a pragmatic and far- sighted approach. They expressed full confidence and faith in the leadership of Sajad Lone. They said that they genuinely believe that PC is the only party which can take J&K out of the current impasse and deliver for the people of Kashmir.
Those who joined include Wahid Khan DDC candidate from Khag, Bashir Ah Malik, Ghulam Ah Magray, Saleem Ah Sheikh, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Shabir Ahmed Bhat, Pervaiz Ah Bhat, Mudasir Ah Bhat, Javaid Ah Sofi, Abid Hussain Mir, Riyaz Ahmad, Fayaz Hussain Wani, Sahil Abbas Bhat, Mehran Ahmed Pandith, Umer Ali, Abdul Khaliq.
