Budgam, Dec 20, KDC: Under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, the District Administration Budgam today held various awareness programmes of government schemes, seed and certificates distribution and grievances redressal camps at various places in the district to mark the beginning of Good Governance Week celebrations.

On the occasion various offices including Education, Health, Agricultural, ARTO, Sheep and Animal Husbandry and Revenue held various awareness camps.

The officers and officials held field visits and distributed seed of various varieties among farmers, while certificates including income, Domicile, Category and revenue extracts were also distributed among the beneficiaries.

The Agriculture authorities conducted General awareness of Agriculture related schemes, SHC distribution and held field visits for the general public.

The office of Assistant Labour Commissioner Budgam conducted awareness regarding e-SHRAM registration among the unorganised workers.

The Animal Husbandry authorities conducted medicine distribution and provided Certificates among the beneficiaries.

On the first day, special Grievance Redressal Camps were also organised at various offices where people thronged in good numbers and raised their issues and demands with the concerned.

The camps witnessed tremendous public response and people hailed the district administrations for on spot redressal of their grievances. (KDC)
