Srinagar, Dec 19, KDC: A Police follower was shot at by militants in Bandzoo area of Pulwama district on Sunday evening.
A police official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that the follower identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Wagay son of Ghulam Wagay, a resident of Bandzoo Pulwama was fired upon near his house. In this incident, he had received gunshot injuries and was immediately shifted to hospital for the treatment, he said adding his condition is stated to be ‘stable’.
“Police has registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of law. Investigation is in progress and officers continue to work to establish the circumstances which lead to this terror crime. Area has been cordoned off and search in the area is going on, he added. (KDC)
