Srinagar, Nov 14, KDC: A policeman was injured in a militant attack in Jamalata Nawa kadal area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Sunday.
Sources said, that the militants attacked a police party in the area, leaving a policeman injured.
The injured Constable identified as Mohammad Maqbool PSO of SP North with bullet injury in neck was shifted to hospital where he is being treated by the doctors.
Medical Superintendent Dr Kawaljeet Singh told Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that “The cop has grievous injury in neck and doctors are treating him, as of now his condition is stable”.
A police officlal said that “It happened during a police raid on a suspected hideout. Some exchange of fire occurred in which one cop suffered injury.” (KDC)
