Srinagar, Sep 17, KDC: A youth injured in a road accident yesterday in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura, officials said.
An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that a motorcyclist met with an accident on Bandipora-Srinagar road near Petrol pump at Nadihal resulting in injuries of two persons identified as Basit Ahmad (Padestarian) and motorcyclist Asgar Ahmad.
He said both injured persons were immediately rushed to nearby hospital where from they were referred to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
However, Asgar Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Saderkoot Payeen of the district have succumbed to his injures at SKIMS Soura.
Meanwhile, Bandipora Police has taken cognizance of the incident. (KDC)
