Budgam, Sep 16, KDC: Haryana police on Thursday arrested two persons including a Patwai in Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) case in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that a Police team from Panipat with assistance of Budgam police arrested two persons identified as Ashiq Hussain Wani son of Mohammad Akbar, a resident of Durbal Bemina, (Parwari) attached with DC office Budgam and Irshad Ali Ganie son of Ali Mohammad, a resident of Wahpora Budgam in Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances case registered at Panipat in year 2019.

They said that Ashiq was booked by Panipat Police under FIR no 633 of 2019 under section 21, 29 of NDPS act and Irshad was booked under FIR no 433 of 2019 under section 21 and 25 of NDPS act.

Both persons were handed over to Panipat Police for further investigations after completing all legal formalities by Budgam Police, they added. (KDC)
