Sopore, Jul 22, KDC: The security forces on Thursday afternoon launched a massive cordon and search operation in Warpora village of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Local sources told the news agency—Kashmir Dot Com that a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, SOG Sopore and CRPF 179, 177 and 92 Battalions were conducting house to house searches in Warpora and sealed all the entry and exit points in the area.
They said that the CASO was launched following specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Search operation was going on in the area when the last reports came in.(KDC)
