Bandipora 13, KDC: A 48 year old man succumbed to his injuries after wind blew away rooftop of house and he was hit in his head yesterday in North Kashmir’s Bandipora District.
A Police official told KDC that a 48 year old man identified as Bashir Ahmad Kumar S/O Abdul Kareem Kumar resident of Gundqaiser Bandipora was hit by a rooftop which blew during wind storm and hit on his head yesterday.
He was referred to District hospital Bandipora wherefrom he was shifted to SKIMS for better treatment, Official said.
However, after battling with life for 17 hours, he succumbed to his injuries at 1:30 at SKIMS today, Official added.
The body of deceased will be handed over to family for last rites after completion of medical formalities, he added. (KDC)
