Srinagar, June 01, KDC: A high level delegation of Employees Joint Action Committee Jammu Kashmir (EJAC) on Tuesday met the new Chief Secretary, J&K Arun Kumar Mehta at New Secretariat, Srinagar.
In a statement to KDC association said that the delegation was led by President EJAC Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam and comprised of prominent leaders including Dr. Manzoor, Mohammad Akbar Khan, Bashir Ahmad Thokar, Ghulam Nabi and Suhaib Munshi.
They said “In the meeting EJAC gave a warm welcome and hearted congratulations to Mehta on his posting as Chief Secretary J&K. On the occasion the leaders presented a memorandum to the Chief Secretary on behalf of the whole of the employees’ fraternity wherein all the issues confronting the fraternity have been elaborated with a luminous colloquialism.”
The leaders, on their part, on the occasion assured full cooperation and support to the worthy officer. (KDC)
