Srinagar, May 25, KDC: A minor boy was killed and another is battling for life in hospital when a boundary wall collapsed in Kanemarg area of Budgam district in central Kashmir.
Reports and eyewitnesses told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that two minor boys identified as Shafat Ahmad (10) son of Ghulam Ahmad, a resident of Balhama Srinagar and Yonus Ahmad, (10) son of Gulzar, Ahmad, a resident of Kanimarg came under a wall which suddenly collapsed in Kanimarg area of Budgam district.
Both minors got trapped under the debris, they said, adding that they were rescued and shifted to a district hospital Budgam where one of them Shafat Ahmad was declared dead on arrival. The other minor was shifted to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.
A police official while confirming the death told KDC that they are investigating the incident. (KDC)
