Kulgam, Apr 14, KDC: The security forces on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a militant and three over ground workers (OGWs) in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Sources told News Agency KDC that Police along with 9 RR established a naka at Bogund Kulgam road. “During checking, four persons travelling in a vehicle were were apprehended by the search party.”
Sources said one among them was identified as a ‘militant’ Zeyan Ahmad Dar from Baramulla, who was missing from Shopian religious seminary since last month while three others are militant sympathizer.
The trio associates were identified as Zahid Nazir, Umer Yousuf and Muzafar Ahmed—all from South Kashmir’s Shopian district, sources said, adding that the outfit affiliation is being ascertained. (KDC)
