Budgam, Apr 14, KDC: Security forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Kasir Mohalla Chadoora Village in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday evening.
Reports reaching News Agency KDC said a joint team of the army’s 53RR, and SOG cordoned off Kasir Mohalla village and conducted house to house searches there.
Reports said that all entry and exit points towards the area were sealed off by the security forces.
A police officer told KDC that a search operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Searches were going on in the area when last reports came in. (KDC)
