Srinagar, Apr 13, KDC: The holy month of Ramadan will begin tomorrow in Jammu and Kashmir as the moon has been sighted, announced J&K Grand Mufti on Tuesday evening.
Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir, Nasir-ul-Islam told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that moon sightings have been reported from various places of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said “The moon marking the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan has been sighted. The holy month will begin from April 14, Wednesday”.
“We have received ample testimonies,” he said, adding the first Taraweh will be offered on April 13. (KDC)
