Srinagar, Apr 03, KDC: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday arrested a Naib Tehsildar of Revenue department from Tangmarg area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, while caught red-handed accepting bribe.
Sources told News agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that on the basis of a complaint ACB team laid a trap and caught the Naib Tehsildar red handed while accepting the bribe.
An official while confirming the arrest said that the NT was caught red-handed while accepting the bribe of rupees thirty thousand 30000.
He identified the arrested NT as Bashir Ahmad Hajam.
He said an FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered in concerned ACB police station and further investigations have been taken up. (KDC)
