Srinagar, Mar 25, KDC: A local Court on Thursday directed Police to investigate the matter pertaining to  a complainant filed by ARTO Baramulla against Siraj ud din Salam of Kanispora Baramulla for uploading Video on Social Media.

According to News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC), Court of Sub-Registrar Shabir Ahamd Malik while passing the order said that in order to ascertain truthfulness of the matter, the allegations needs to be investigated and said,”it is a duty of Court to entrust the investigation to the best suited person keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case the mode of committing the alleged offence is through CyberSpace, therefore it is appropriate to direct someone who is well versed or trained in the field related to the offences committed through CyberSpace.”

The Court directed the SSP Cyber Police/ incharge Cyber Police Station Kashmir Zone to investigate the allegations leveled by Mubashir Jan Bhat (ARTO) against accused Siraj-ud-din salam and submit the detailed report before the Court.

Counsel for the Complainant Advocate Saleem Yousuf argued that the accused has uploaded false and baseless video on social media and has defamed the image and reputation of ARTO Baramulla in the society. (KDC)
