Budgam, Mar 17, KDC: Security forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Braripora-Gund Village of Center Kashmir Budgam district on Wednesday evening.
Reports reaching to KDC said a joint team of army’s 50RR, SOG and police cordoned off Braripora-Gund and conducted house to house searches there.
Reports said that all entry and exit points towards the area were sealed off by the security forces.
Sources told KDC search operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Searches were going on in the area when last reports came in. (KDC)
