Srinagar, Mar 13, KDC: Authorities at Kashmir University on Saturday said that the matter of re-examination of few papers of UG 6th semester is under consideration and any rectification or change in this regard will be made available today onKashmir University website.

The re-examination of a few papers ordered by the university received a backlash from students saying that university should consider papers they have already given.

While talking to news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC), Prof. Irshad Ahmad Nawchoo who is controller of examinations at the University of Kashmir said that we received more than 1000 soft copy complaints from students demanding re-examination of these papers, they called us a million times back then now same students are asking us to consider papers they gave earlier.

“We are trying to resolve this issue as soon as possible, we will open up everything by evening on the university web portal” he added.

The university had ordered re-examination for subjects which include Sericulture, Sericulture Integration for Sericulture with Poultry and Fisheries, Harmonium-III, Harmonium-IV, Persian Skill-IV and Probability and Statistics from 16th of March 2021.

Meanwhile the students had again protested today at the university campus demanding the university to roll back the order of re-examination. (KDC)
