Sopore, Mar 7, KDC: Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Harwan -Tujjar area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday Evening.
Sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com- (KDC) that a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, SOG and 179 battalion of CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Harwan village of Sopore town following inputs abouth the presence of some militants and conducted house to house searches in the area.
Sources said forces have installed lights to prevent the escape of militants owing to darkness adding that searches were going on when last reports came in. (KDC)
