Srinagar, Mar 06, KDC: A day after Enforcement Directorate(ED) summoned the PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti to its Delhi office in connection with a money laundering case, senior National Conference leader and sitting Member Parliament (MP) from North Kashmir, Mohammad Akbar Lone on Saturday lashed out at the probing agency ED saying that they have become a “toy” which is being played in the hands of ruling BJP Government.

Akbar Lone while talking to News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC), condemned the ED summon to former Chief Minister and PDP President, Mehbooba Mufti and said that these summons are just to defame the reputation of the senior leaders of the valley.

Lone added that the senior leaders are being targeted for just outpouring their opinion.

He said that those who are time and again talking about scrapping Article 370 should remember that it was the only affixture between India and Kashmir.

Pertinently ED on Friday summoned the PDP chief to its New Delhi office on March 15 for questioning in connection with a money laundering case. Erstwhile the probing agency had also summoned former Chief Minister and sitting MP Farooq Abdullah twice a few months back. (KDC)
