Srinagar, Jan 31, KDC: It has been over two days, since low speed internet services were suspended after the gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Lelhar village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
However, yesterday in the wee hours, both the militants surrendered before forces and one of them who was critically injured was shifted to hospital. But internet services are still in the suspension mode thus giving tough time to local residents especially students.
Scores of students from Pulwama while talking to News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC), over phone, expressed dissatisfaction over this move of authorities and demanded immediate restoration of the same.
They maintained that they are suffering immensely due to the frequent suspension of internet services in the area adding that they had to travel long distances to avail internet connection and get their little work done which could be done in minutes sitting at home while internet works. (KDC)
