Shopian Jan 18: Shrikant Balasaheb Suse today assumed the charge as Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian.
Soon after assuming the charge, he interacted with the officers and officials in his office chamber.
While speaking on the occasion, Suse said that he feels honoured to have got an opportunity to serve people of Shopian as Deputy Commissioner which is known for Apples and having historical importance from the ancient times. It was previously known as ‘Sheen-e-van’ meaning ‘forest of snow’ and has produced great scholars, poets.
He further said that he expects complete professional and dedication from all officers and officials and assured them of his complete support to honest work endeavours aimed at prompt work disposal and development of the district. (KDC)
