Srinagar, 13 Jan, KDC: Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested two Lashker-e-Toiba militant associates in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
In a statement to news agency Kashmir Dot Com, the Police said that it arrested two militant associates of LeT. Based on a reliable information, Srinagar Police arrested two militant associates from Bulbul Bagh Barzulla identified as Muzaffar Jan son of Ghulam Nabi Mir resident of Old Barzulla Srinagar and Abass Shafi Najar son of Mohammad Shafi Najar, resident of Natipora Srinagar.
The statement further stated that from their possession arms and ammunition viz two Chinese pistols, two magazines, 13 live pistol cartridges were recovered.
In this regard case FIR No. 06/2021 under various sections of law has been registered at Police Station Sadder Barzulla. Further investigations has been set into motion , statement added. (KDC)
