Shopian, Dec 28, KDC: An army soldier, who was injured critically in an encounter in Southern Shopian district last week succumbed to his injuries.
An official told news agency KDC, that a soldier who was injured in Kanigam encounter on December 26th succumbed to his injures in 92 base hospital Srinagar on Monday, adding that the soldier was posted in Army’s 44 RR in Shopian.
Pertinently, Two Al-Badr militants Owais Farooq resident of Kadlabal Chersoo Awantipora and Aasif Ahmad Lone, resident of Turkawangam Shopian were killed in Kanigam area of Southern Shopian district on Saturday. (KDC)
