Pulwama, Dec 16, KDC: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a suspected militant and recovered arms and ammunition in Malikpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, official sources said.
Official sources told news agency KDC that government forces intercepted a three-wheeler at Malikpora, Pulwama on Tuesday night. During search, the forces recovered one AK 7 rifle and magazine, they said.
The suspected militant was identified as Mudasir Ahmad driver of the vehicle and is being questioned.
A case under various sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been initiated in this regard. (KDC)
