Three Militants including reportedly a local and two foreign militants turned down an offer to surrender raging a fire fight in the earlier launched CASO.
A police officer while confirming said “An offer to surrender was given to (militants) who includes a local and two foreigners but they opened fire on cordon team that led to an exchange of fire,”
Earlier an cordon and search operation was launched by security forces in Dugran -Poshana area.
A senior police officer confirmed the establishment of contact with militants in Dugran -Poshana area and when this report was filed, the firefight was going on. Earlier DGP Dilbag Singh told that three militants were trapped in the encounter site. “Further details would be shared later,” he added.
