Srinagar, Dec 02, KDC: Famous Cricketer turned politician, Gautam Gambhir of Bhartiya Janta Party is likely to campaign for BJP in Jammu and Kashmir for the ongoing polls of District Development Council and Panchayat by-elections.
Sources in BJP told news agency Kashmir Dot Com-(KDC) that Gambhir will participate in the campaign from December 7-9 this month for the DDC polls in J&K.
“He will participate as a star BJP campaigner in the DDC polls in J&K,’’ sources said.
Pertinently, the ongoing eight-phased DDC polls started on November 28 and will conclude on December 19 while the counting of votes will be done on December 22. (KDC)
