29 soldiers killed this year in ceasefire violations

Srinagar, Nov 27, KDC: Two Army soldiers were killed in a ceasefire violation by the Pakistani Army along the Line of Control in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir on Friday taking the total number of soldiers killed this year to 29 along LoC, officials said.
An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com-(KDC) that the Pakistani army resorted to an unprovoked ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani sector of district Rajouri on Friday adding that in which two soldiers sustained critical injuries, who later succumbed to their injuries.
He identified the slain soldiers as Naik Prem Bahadur Khatri and Rifleman Sukhbir Singh adding that the nation will always remain indebted to them for their supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty.
On Thursday, a junior commissioned officer (JCO) of the army was killed and a civilian injured as Pakistani troops shelled and fired on forward posts and villages along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district.
Pertinently, as per the data available with KDC, Twenty Nine (29) Indian soldiers have lost their lives in Pakistani firing at Line of Control (LoC) this year. (KDC)
