Kupwara, Nov 26, KDC: Two soldiers were injured in accidental fire in Kandi Khass area of frontier district of Kupwara on Thursday.
An official told news agency KDC that the rifle of a soldier went off, resulting in injuries to two fellow soldiers. Both the injured soldiers were identified as Muralidar and Lakhwinder Singh of 47 Rashtriya Rifles (RR).
The official also said that the injured army men were immediately evacuated to military hospital Drugmulla for treatment, where from one among them was shifted to 92 base hospital in Srinagar. (KDC)
